Chardonnay is often stored in small oak barrels in order to produce the characteristical strong flavours and aromas. The base character is faint citrus but with added oak, vanilla and smoke flavours from the malolactic fermentation. Our Australian style Chardonnay has all the right characteristics and also a hint of the new world.
